CVS repository

For managing our projects source codes and files we are using Concurrent Version System (CVS) software provided on the primary CVS server cvs.platon.sk.

Anonymous access

Platon Software Development Group CVS repository can be checked out through anonymous (pserver) CVS with the following instruction set. The project you wish to check out must be specified on the place marked <project>. When prompted for a password for anonymous, simply press the Enter key.

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.platon.sk:/home/cvs login
cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.platon.sk:/home/cvs checkout <project>

These two commands should work with no problems on any UNIX-like system with cvs client installed. For checkouting projects on MS-Windows platform you can use one from several free available CVS client softwares such as WinCVS, TortoiseCVS and so on.

Write access

For active developers we are providing CVS access with write permissions. Access is protected by password. Due to various security reasons, it is neccessary to encrypt selected password with special crypt program. Than send it by e-mail ciphered using GnuPG to administrator of our CVS repository. Detailed instructions are written in program source code.

Direct link to program crypt generating encrypted passwords is
