Hi there,
In my installation I have detected that if I use
mce-cal extension
, the
checkboxes and radiobuttoms are converted into dropdown menus
.
Does anyone know how to make it work correctly?
Is it a bug? Shall I report it?
Thanks in advance
PD: However if I use the export extension or the normal script it works normally.

Is this the latest version from the CVS? I updated it about 3/4 weeks ago, so it might be worth pulling the latest again. As far as I can see, it should work now.
I do know that the previous release didn't work.

Sorry, I still do not know what CVS is!! :-)
In my configuration I have:
phpMyEdit-mce-cal.class.php ==> "v 1.6 2006-09-16 18:43:47"
phpMyEdit.class.php ==> "v 1.208 2007-09-22 14:45:50"
phpMyEditSetup.php ==> "v 1.48 2006-09-09 07:38:54"
Is that the info you need?

You are running a very out of date version of mce_cal.
Please download the latest from the CVS (CVS is the repository for the latest code). You can access this from the left hand margin, or click here:
http://opensource.platon.sk/cvs/cvs.php/phpMyEdit/
You need the latest phpMyEdit main class file, plus at least the latest mce_cal extension file from the extensions directory.

hanks for your reply. It is indeed the persistent connection used in the code. I edit the file and changed:
$dbl = @mysql_pconnect($hn, $un, $pw);
to
$dbl = @mysql_pconnect($server["$hn"],$username ["$un"], $password["$pw"]);
slope game

and it worked. It let me move on to the table and field selection but I run into different problem. It didn't display the table/field for me to select. I'm not a PHP programmer so I don't want to spend more time on it. Hopefully, the developers have some times to update phpMyEdit to work with my environment or newer.
