Well, no version ever have support for this matter. However, I believe this is put on long term TODO list. Initialization can be probably made with $opts['key'] = array('col1', 'col2'). But it is not implemented now and won't be in 5.3 as well.

Nepto, if you had previous thoughts about multiple key fields, can you tell some issues, eventually the piece of code that need to be patched to support such feature

I didn't want to overload bug-tracker ;-), but if you think this more appropriate to fill in a bug please do so.

It's all about priorities. Since my employment in Nextra Slovakia ISP I have limited time to develop open-source (actually only evenings and weekends, during day I only can answer the issues in tracker and forums).

Do you think this feature is important? I did not hear so much voices requesting this.

hum... No _very_ important, it was just in case of you have already some draft

Usually, I use PME to small database with simple model.

But currently, PME will be used to design the admin interface of a "big" project (I mean with a complex database-model)..
.... with multiples keys :-(

My goal is only to be able to basicly handle thoses tables.

So I'm working in different direction to make this possible :
- add native multiple key support
- use the 'sql' options + an additionnal composite field as a workaround (see the http://opensource.platon.sk/projects/bug_view_advanced_page.php?f_bug_id=121)

The second doesn't seem so hard.

Another way was to handle multiple key in a 'virtual' field.
There seems to be a start in documentation about 'expression' option, but this one is commented out...
