Cheers for great software!

I've created a file
'php|AC' => 'Amount.php',
to help in creation of a dynamic Add and Change form.

I simply need to know what variable holds the value of the field (when in Change mode), which I can use in Amount.php. I'm currently using
$this->rec
and making a query with it, but this is rather cumbersome.

thanks.

Thanks for that... dbug provides an elegant view of the class. And I think it answered my question. i.e. there is no variable available that holds the value of a field accessible from the 'php' file I use to replace a field.

I think what I was after was something like the $oldvals array available in triggers.
