Hi everyone,

I’ve been working with libcfg+ to parse a custom configuration file for a project, and I’m having trouble understanding how to properly define and use nested cfg_opt_t structures.

Specifically, I’m trying to create a config that looks like this:

bash
Copy
Edit
server: {
port = 8080
log = "server.log"
}
client: {
timeout = 30
retries = 5
}
I’ve looked at the cfg_opt_t arrays and the CFG_SEC types, but I’m still confused about how to structure the nesting correctly. Do I need separate cfg_opt_t arrays for each section (like server_opts, client_opts) and then include those in the top-level array using CFG_SEC?
google baseball
Any simple working example or a breakdown of how to define and register these nested sections would be a huge help. Thanks in advance!
