Hello everyone,
I am currently experiencing a technical issue with my WordPress website and wanted to ask if anyone in the community has dealt with something similar. My site represents a local auto repair business, and the page focused on Collision Center in Riverside services has recently started loading very slowly. Some visitors also mentioned that certain images in the gallery section are not displaying properly on mobile devices.
The website is built on WordPress with a few plugins for SEO, caching, and image optimization. Until recently everything was working smoothly, but over the last couple of weeks the performance has noticeably dropped. The homepage and service pages sometimes take several seconds to load, and occasionally images appear broken until the page is refreshed. Since the Collision Center in Riverside page includes several before and after repair photos, it is important that the images load correctly for visitors.
I have already tried a few basic troubleshooting steps. I cleared the cache, updated all plugins, and checked if the issue was caused by the theme, but the problem still appears from time to time. My hosting provider says the server is running normally, so I am wondering if this could be related to image compression, plugin conflicts, or possibly lazy loading settings.
Has anyone experienced similar performance issues with WordPress sites that use a lot of images? If so, what tools or methods helped you identify the root cause? I am considering using tools like performance analyzers or reducing the image size further, but I did appreciate hearing about real solutions that worked for others.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
