Hi Guys,
I have been using libcfg+ and am happy with it. Well done!
I would like to know how I configure the options to allow comments in
a configuration file. Ideally I want to be able to do something like:
DEVICE = 3 /* This is the device ID */
The purpose is to parse the DEVICE value and ignore the test
delimmited by the /* */. The description of the library says it can do this,
I just haven't figured out how to do it!

I'm affraid this is not possible.
For comments there is only this option:

CFG_FILE_COMMENT_PREFIX -- config file comment prefix
For changing configuration comment prefix use this type. Lines started with one of these prefixes are skipped. By default are hash sign (#) and semicolon (;) initialized.

However we can implement also support for
/* ... */
comments. I'm quite busy now, but I will certainly accept a patch for this. Please start new entry in bug-tracking system if you willing to implemented this feature.

Btw. with the current implementation you can simply make:

Well, I know, it is not the same, but better than nothing...
