If the
Roadrunner Email Settings
does not work or has stopped working due to some changes, such as when you upgraded your iPhone to iOS5. You can then read this blog here and find settings extracted from those taken from the Roadrunner customer service itself.
Steps to configure iPhone's Roadrunner email are as follows:
Step 1: Select Settings
Step 2 on your iPad or iPhone: Choose Mail, Contacts, and Calendars.
Step 3: If set up previously, pick either "Connect Password" or opt for existing Road Runner ID.
Stage 4: Choose an Other.
Step 5: Choose the "Add Mail Account" option and fill in the following information:·
Name: fill in your name·
Email Address: username@ec.rr.com·
Password: fill in your password·
Description: this is the name shown in your iPhone Account List
Step 6: Press the Next
Step 7 button: Choose POP as well as fill out the Incoming Mail Server or Outgoing Mail Server.
Incoming Mail Server Host= pop-server.ec.rr.com·
User Name= username@ec.rr.com·
Password= password·
Outgoing Mail Server Host= mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com·
User Name= username@ec.rr.com·
Password= password
Step 8: Select Save
