Most folks will understand that vorago contains 5 Phases out of that 3 and 5 are
RS gold
dps based (1 rather is and isnt) whereas 2 and 4 are entirely period based. But the time based phases dont feel wrong, since it assembles a narative whith optaining the maul bits and you got things to do. This seems 100 times better than other time gated boss stages in RuneScape, such as blackstone dragon flying around for an eternity as you run around and think"dude just shut the #### up and allow me to fight you!" The fight feels every rotation with the Rotations Changing Phase 3, 4 and 5 per week. With a few beeing somewhat more easy than others but each having unique mechanics and ways to overcome them. This aids the boss not find dull after Killing it hundreds of times.
I despise araxxor. Notably path 1. The issue I have reflect at rax is its only. You know when a particular will come but you dont understand exactly what it is (apart from it not being the final one it did but thats still a 50/50). I dont mind cleave/cocoon since those are easily dealt with and dont restrict me much but it only feels awful to see you ult head from the window. Vorago is a stark contrast for me in this respect while it's reflect mechanics they are always in precisely the exact same spot in its own assault rotation punishing players/teams who dont listen to the fight while having little to no impact on teams who do. Charging deto during signify even gives you the choice to squeeze some dps out of it.
Stage 5 is an absolute masterpiece beeing an already amazing fight's orgasm. Jagex decided with upgrade to kill Vorago using mage armour. This will lead vorago and dropping not beeing rewarding to perform. In my Opinion jagex need to give the t92 variants the"masterwork remedy" making it capable to be custom fit so that it degrades slower. To equilibrium price it would use 1 (maybe 2) repair kits + the t90 armour version to recharge. That should maintain t90 armour and its resources in a price. Add the necessity of a repair kit to masterwork to keep them.
I think vorago is the best set boss in existance right now (except the profit atm ofcourse). If you look at solak and AoD they have just become dps dummies both.Yeah, part of the reason why I really like vorago is since you dont need to be a fantastic dpser to perform the boss efficiently. If individuals are taught the mechanics you can handle 4 in duo, 5 kill hours. This is even with dps being 15-25% below maximum efficiency. For me this means I can go to any of my buddies and have a fantastic time. Regrettably ramens supervisors (solak and aod) become aids if just a few people are underperforming.
