Hey everyone,

I've been living in Kearny for a few years now, and like a lot of the older homes around here, my basement setup is starting to show its age. This past winter was a bit of a wake-up call with those random cold snaps nothing is worse than waking up at 3 AM to radiators that are barely lukewarm.

I’m starting to look into a full boiler installation kearny nj because I'm tired of the "band-aid" repairs that only seem to last a month. My current unit is basically a cast-iron dinosaur, and I'm pretty sure my gas bills are higher than they need to be because it's working overtime just to keep the house at 68 degrees.

Has anyone else in the area made the jump to a high-efficiency combi-boiler recently? I’m curious if the savings on the monthly PSE&G bill actually offset the initial cost as quickly as people say. I'd rather deal with it now while the weather is nice than wait for a total meltdown in January when every HVAC tech in North Jersey is booked solid.

Any advice on what brands hold up best with our local water prep or things to look out for during the install would be awesome. Thanks!
