phpMyEdit is a great program.

A primitive master detail function was pretty easy to setup. I created a two row frameset, the top pane has the master record and the bottom pane shows the associated detail records when you click on one of the special URLs in the top pane record list. (Only very minor change to the generated php file for the detail table was required)

I also set it up an display image for a field containing url info pointing to an image. (I added a ['HMTML'] option to do this, its similar to the ['URL'] option, but simpler and allows arbitray HTML)

If you are interested in adding either of these to the official version, let me know I'd be happy to help.

Of course I'm interested in code. Althogh I cannot guarantee its application, it will be at least usable as inspiration.

Be carefule with back/forward/reload browser buttons, because it is little bit tricky (master form/frame is not refreshed correctly in IE6/Mozilla)
