Is avocado a vegetable or a fruit?
Avocados, also known as butter balls, are classified as “fruits” originating from Mexico. sawadeemorning Often have oval, oval, pear-like fruit, thick rind, with a single large round seed in the middle. The flesh is yellowish white or yellowish green depending on the species, with a bland, oily, butter-like taste that many people will love to eat!

2. What varieties of avocados we see in our house?
Avocados that are sold in our home are divided into 2 groups, domestically grown, which are “Buccanear”, a spherical fruit that is ripe, and the skin is still dark green; "Hall" has a shape similar to a drop of water that we are familiar with. "Hass" has the same shape as the Hall, but the skin is more rough. There are both grown in Thailand and imported from other countries such as America, Australia, New Zealand. It is easy to notice that the fruit is larger than the varieties grown in the country and has a higher price.

3. How to see ripe avocados?
Avocados are delicious when they are cooked because they are soft. The way to notice is to try to squeeze gently. If pressed and soft, slightly dented, it means that it is ready to eat. If you can't press it down, it means it's not ripe yet. You can also look at the color of the shell.
• Fresh green rinds – unripe, hard flesh, not ready to eat.
• Greenish-brown bark – quite ripe, firm flesh, easy to cut. If you haven't eaten it yet, you can refrigerate it.
• Dark brown, purple or black bark – fully cooked, soft texture, easy to grind.
