Check engine fluids frequently such as oil, coolant, transmission, brakes, and power steering
Check oil levels monthly - To check the oil, park the vehicle on level ground and wait for the engine to cool down after driving and then locate the dipstick. Pull it out and wipe it clean, then push it out so the top of it sits properly in the dip tube again. Check the oil level. If it is between the high and low marks, the oil level is good.
Check coolant annually - Cooling systems prevent the vehicle from overheating and lurking in the radiator. Check the coolant and wait for the engine to cool down, there should be “low” and “high” markings on the outside and the coolant level inside should be between them. (Do not remove the radiator cap to check coolant levels. If the cooling system is still hot, it is still under pressure and releasing the pressure will burn you)
