Any traveller may change or cancel their bookings within 24 hours of the initial booking, regardless of the fare chosen. Use the information below as a guide to determine how much Air Canada charges for cancellations:
After 24 hours of your booking, you might not be able to cancel your ticket if you have a Basic Economy fare with Air Canada.
You might be eligible for a reimbursement if you need to cancel your ticket due to military orders or because your travelling companion passed away.
If you have purchased any of the fares—Standard, Flex, Non-flexible business, and Premium Economy—you must pay almost $200 to cancel your reservation.
Fully refundable class includes Latitude and Flexible premium economy and business fares.
Anytime before to the flight's scheduled departure, if you have a Latitude or Flexible Premium ticket, you can cancel your reservation.
If you cancel your Air Canada award ticket after the regular cancellation period has passed, you will be charged a $125 cancellation fee.
There is a $150
Cancellation fee
if you choose to cancel your award ticket through Air Canada's contact centre.
