I would like to reset the value of a field in the INSERT BEFORE trigger. I can view the contents of the user's entries in
$newvals
. While I can change a value in $newvals, this change is
not posted to the database
. Either it is too late in the process, or I am using the wrong variable for this purpose.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Robert
(Thanks to MICHAL for assistance with setting defaults when doing MOREADD.)

THANKS AGAIN MICHAL, I WILL TRY THIS VERSION.
BTW: I am getting my email notices in Slovak language. I tried to reset my language to English, but don't see that in
basic preferences
. It's not a big deal since I just click on the links, but if I'm going to use pme, I should get smarter about such things as this option ;=O
